The location is excellent, easily accessible and quiet. Friendly welcome. Clean, tidy, and comfortable facilities. Able to have a shower at lunchtime. Loved the fireplace. Manager gave great rundown on local area. Cozy room with heater and warm blankets. Good value for money.

This hotel was a great find! It exceeded my expectations in many ways. the attention to detail was impressive - everything was clean and well-maintained. Secondly, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, making me feel at home. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and equipped with a good heater, perfect for those chilly nights. The beautiful view of the mountains added to the overall charm of the place.

Kitchen need a few more cooking condiments such as salt and oil, also as it had a gas cooktop, either a supply of matches or a lighter should be provided.

A bit far from town centre, but it's a relaxing walk in the green

The hotel is located in a quiet area of the city, away from the town center and close to Hanmer's highlights. the room is spacious and well-equipped. the bathroom is clean and tidy with good pressure. the kitchen is cozy and well-equipped. the fireplace keeps the lounge area really warm.

The bed sheets and pillows were not clean, which made us feel uncomfortable during the night.

Spacious room, clean kitchen, lots of seating, and free mintie lollies. Friendly owner, great location near hot pools and restaurants. Off-street parking, bike rental, and towel hire available. Peaceful atmosphere, well-equipped lounge, and outdoor areas. Not your typical impersonal backpackers, but a warm, relaxing memory maker.

our recent stay in hanmer springs was fantastic. jack in the green garden rooms exceeded our expectations with their comfortable queen bed, stunning view of green space, and spacious ensuite facilities. the location was perfect, allowing for a quiet and private getaway while still being just a short walk away from shopping and pools.

Hot water bottles were missing.

It was friednly and inviting, a great location handy to the heart of the township, and for a backpackers it was really lovely and quiet.
